Bread Pudding


Description:
A holiday treat served in many German households. Bread pudding uses leftover cinnamon raisin bread to make a delicious treat. Very nice with ham.

Ingredients:
3 eggs, beaten
½ cup melted butter
3 ¼ cups milk or half and half
1 ¼ cups sugar
3 cups bread cubes (cinnamon raisin bread is good)
½ t. vanilla
½ t. cinnamon

Instructions:
Preheat oven to 350. Grease 8” baking pan. In large mixing bowl, combine eggs, butter, milk or half and half, sugar, vanilla, and cinnamon. Mix well. Add bread cubes and mix well. Pour into prepared pan. Bake for one hour, or until set. Serve warm.
